Can you use the Tesco Gift Card online?

Unfortunately, the Tesco Gift Card is not currently accepted as a payment method on the Tesco website or app. This means it cannot be used to pay for a Tesco grocery delivery or to make online click-and-collect orders.

The reason for this relates to how Tesco's online checkout is set up. Tesco’s online payment system doesn't currently support the use of gift cards. While it may seem like an obvious feature to include, the technical infrastructure behind online payments and gift card systems can be complex to integrate and maintain. Tesco has therefore chosen to not accept gift cards for online payments.
